This policy explains what personal data Launch Your Twin collects when you visit this site, ask for the free guide on why AI twins look fake or buy the guide, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible

The controller of your data is the seller:

What we collect

• Your email address, when you ask for the free guide through the form on this site, and when you buy the guide through Whop.
• Order data from Whop: what you bought, the payment id, the amount, the currency and the date. Whop handles your card or other payment details; we never see them.
• Request logs: when you load a page or download a file, our host Vercel records technical data such as your IP address, the address requested and the time.

Why, and on which legal basis

• To deliver what you bought — the guide and the emails about it. The legal basis is performing our contract with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• To send the free guide and marketing email about the guide and later offers. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
• To run and protect the site through request logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure site (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Who processes it for us

• Whop — payments.
• Resend — sending our email, including the links to what you bought, and keeping the mailing list.
• Vercel — hosting this site, the PDFs and the scripts page you open or download from it, and its request logs.
• Microsoft — Microsoft Clarity, which records how the home page and the thank-you page are used. And, when we advertise with Microsoft (Bing), Microsoft's UET tag, which runs on this site: it tells Microsoft which pages you viewed, sends it data about your device and browser, your IP address and, when you came from one of its ads, the ad-click ID msclkid in the page address, and sets cookies. When you buy, we send Microsoft the order's amount and currency, an order number and your email address in hashed form, so that Microsoft can tell which ads led to purchases.
• Google — Google Tag Manager, which loads the ad pixels.

Meta, TikTok and Whop get data through their ad pixels, as described under “Ad pixels: Meta, TikTok and Whop” below, and Microsoft through Clarity, as described under “Microsoft Clarity” below. We are not paid for it. Apart from them, we do not share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

Transfers to the United States

The seller and the five providers above are in the United States, so your data is processed there. Where you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the transfer relies on the safeguards each provider offers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Meta and TikTok may process what their pixels collect in the United States and other countries, under their own privacy policies. What Whop's pixel collects goes to Whop, and what Clarity records goes to Microsoft, both among the five providers above.

How long we keep it

• Your email on the mailing list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
• Order data: as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep records of sales.
• Request logs: only as long as Vercel keeps them.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction of it, its deletion, and object to how we use it. Write to support@launchyourtwin.com. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, such as the data protection authority of the country where you live.

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send ends with an unsubscribe link: open it, press Unsubscribe, and we take you off the list at once. Your mail app may also show an Unsubscribe button of its own, which does the same. You can also write to support@launchyourtwin.com.

Cookies, storage and tracking

Our own code sets no cookies. It keeps one thing in your browser's local storage: whether you chose the dark or the light background. It never leaves your device. The cookies of the Meta and TikTok pixels, of Microsoft's UET tag and of Microsoft Clarity are described below. None of these trackers, nor Google Tag Manager, runs on the unsubscribe page our emails link to, nor on the files and the scripts page you bought.

Ad pixels: Meta, TikTok and Whop

When we advertise with Meta (Facebook and Instagram) or TikTok, their pixels run on this site. Through Whop's checkout settings, their pixels also run on the checkout. A pixel is a small script of the ad platform. It tells Meta or TikTok which pages you viewed and that a sign-up or a purchase happened, and it sends them data about your device and browser, your IP address and, when you came from one of their ads, the ad-click ID in the page address: fbclid for Meta, ttclid for TikTok. We use this to see which ads bring visitors and buyers, and Meta and TikTok use it to show our ads to people likely to be interested.

When we advertise through Whop, Whop's pixel runs on this site too. It measures the pages you view, a sign-up, with the email address you signed up with, and a purchase, and it attributes them to the ads that brought you here.

When we advertise with Microsoft (Bing), Microsoft's UET tag runs on this site. It tells Microsoft which pages you viewed, and it sends Microsoft data about your device and browser, your IP address and, when you came from one of its ads, the ad-click ID in the page address, msclkid; it sets cookies. When you buy, we send Microsoft the order's amount and currency, an order number and your email address in hashed form, so that Microsoft can tell which ads led to purchases.

We load the ad pixels, such as Meta's, through Google Tag Manager, a Google service. In Google's words, “Google Tag Manager does not collect, retain, or share any information about visitors to our customers' properties, including page URLs visited.”

Meta's pixel sets the cookie _fbp, which identifies your browser, and, when you came from a Meta ad, the cookie _fbc, which holds that ad-click ID. TikTok's pixel sets the cookie _ttp, which lets TikTok show you ads from sites you have visited.

To opt out, block or delete cookies for this site in your browser's settings. For Meta, choose how your data is used for ads in the ad settings of Meta's Accounts Center, explained in Meta's privacy policy. For TikTok, see TikTok's page on ads and your data.

Microsoft Clarity

On the home page and the thank-you page we use Microsoft Clarity to see how the page is used and to improve it. Clarity records your clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and session replays of your visit, with data about your device and browser. The sign-up form is masked: what you type into it, and what it answers, are not recorded.

Clarity sets the cookies _clck and _clsk, and Microsoft cookies such as MUID. Per Clarity's documentation, session replays are kept for 30 days and heatmaps for 9 months.

Microsoft collects or receives personal data from this site to provide Microsoft Advertising. How Microsoft uses it is set out in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

To opt out of interest-based ads, use optout.aboutads.info, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

This site is not aimed at people under 18.
